Child Diagnosis

Nothing can prepare you for how you are going to feel after getting a diagnosis for your child. There is little to no support in many cases and a huge lack of signposting to access interventions and therapeutic support for your child, leading to continuous stress and anxiety. This is a time of emotional turmoil for the majority of parents and YOU need to support yourself during this time.

This is where I can help.

Coaching is a safe, non-judgemental space to explore the emotions and challenges that are coming up for you. These emotions and challenges, which are completely normal, cause you to become stuck preventing you from being able to move forward. Mindset can become clouded and negative. At a time when you are desperately trying to support your child as best you can you are struggling to even support yourself. 

It does NOT have to be this way.

Accepting the vision you once had for your life in a different way than you had perhaps imagined it was going to be is something that can be worked on through coaching.

I have walked in your shoes. I get it. The worry. The fear of the unknown. The grey areas that are so unclear. The waiting.  The endless appointments. The guilt. The grief. The ‘other children’. The variety of Strained relationships. After 13 years now of accessing different supports, attending coaching myself and being a part of different support networks (which I joined reluctantly but forever grateful I did!) I feel that I can offer both professional coaching and practical support to parents on this journey. You are still you.
